When it comes to treating acne, there are no shortcuts. That being said, ENVIRON’s Hydroxy Acid Sebu-Clear Masque is as close as it gets!

This targeted masque reduces breakouts and congestion to leave skin looking and feeling smooth and healthy. Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids administered at a slightly lower pH than the skin’s barrier cause a chemical reaction that stimulates the skin to increase production of the key substances it needs for optimal health — leaving skin smooth, supple and hydrated. 

Pro Tip: This masque rivals even professional-use-only formulas that are used in advanced treatments. Use it to treat blocked pores, resurface textured skin, and keep the skin calm while doing it! 

 

Key Active Ingredients

Lactic Acid

  • Softens and smooths skin texture
  • Naturally exfoliates by breaking down the “glue” between cells to assist in the natural shedding process
  • Prepares skin to absorb the active ingredients in the rest of your ENVIRON regime
  • Intensely hydrating
  • Brightening and inhibits melanin production (pigmentation) that can be activated from acne inflammation (otherwise known as Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation or PIH)

Salicylic Acid

  • Oil-soluble BHA that gently exfoliates deep within the pores to unblock and clear built-up sebum and debris
  • Reduces acne flare-ups

Tea Tree Oil

  • Anti-bacterial
  • Anti-inflammatory
  • Promotes wound healing

How to use at home

Use: 2-3 times per week (evening)

Use as a masque:

  1. Cleanse and tone skin
  2. Apply an even layer of the masque to the affected areas of the skin
  3. Remove with tepid water after 10 minutes to 1 hour
  4. Follow with appropriate moisturiser, or mix equal amounts ENVIRON Sebu-Lac Lotion and Sebu-ACE Oil in the palm of your hand and gently massage into the skin

Use as an overnight treatment: 

  1. Apply Vita-Botanical Sebu-ACE Oil 
  2. Apply a thin layer of Hydroxy Acid Sebu-Clear Masque over top

Use as a micro-exfoliation treatment:
*If using this method, can be done nightly

  1. Apply a thin layer of the masque over top of EVIRON’s Dual-Action Pre-Cleansing Oil
  2. Massage into the face for 3-5 minutes, concentrating on areas of concern
  3. Remove with an appropriate cleanser for your skin type

Special Alert

Mild tingling may be experienced. Discontinue use if excessive dryness or flaking occurs, and slowly introduce the masque once skin has settled.
